GOLDEN GRINGO AWARD WINNERS
CANBERRA
"BUT WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL?" AWARD OF THE WEEK Goes to Glasgow Rangers great and former coach of the now defunct Carlton Soccer club, Stuart Munro who this week established himself as front-runner to take over from USA bound Tom Sermanni as coach of the Canberra Cosmos. Great choice. Too bad Stuart knows nothing about it. Munro who, since the Bluebloods demise, has been linked to the coaching positions at no fewer than four NSL clubs, a couple of J League clubs, the leadership of the Liberal Party in Western Australia and Queensland and as a replacement for Mulder in the X - Files, apparently has changed his mobile phone number and can't be contacted. The Four Diegos request that anyone who has Stuart's new number, please contact Canberra Cosmos chairman, Danny Moulis ASAP.

There were too many players who were not performing. They are destroying the club with their unprofessional and irresponsible attitude." He also went on to say " Have l ever told you that l coached Australia in the 1974 world Cup finals in Germany Huh! November 1998 |
