"BOUNCERS AT CHASERS DISCO STAND UP AND APPLAUD"
AWARD OF THE WEEK

Goes to Taliban religious police in Afghanistan who, this week, arrested 12 touring Pakistani soccer players and shaved their heads for breaking the Islamic dress code which forbids anyone to wear shorts in public.

The Taliban long list of rules include not wearing shorts or short sleeve shirts in public - even athletes are required to wear the traditional baggy pants and long tunic.

It's suffice to say that Afghan national teams have found it difficult to win games - apparently something to do with the tunic and gravel rash - but boy no one dares break their dress code.

What a great inspiration for nightclub bouncers throughout the world.
