Rebirth or Still Birth?

No matter what anyone might say, the Premier League will always be a better competition when Liverpool is doing well, so that is why the appointment of a new manager in Roy Hodgson is so important.

Those wishing for the further demise of Liverpool will say that this appointment just confirms the fall of Liverpool.

The club has appointed a journeyman manager who's real claim to fame is taking Fulham to the final of the 'Kissing Your Sister' cup this year.

Those with true faith will say that the new manager begins the rebirth of Liverpool, taking the club back to the traditions of the 50's and 60's.

Only time will tell, and maybe sooner than we think, because if the likes of Gerrard and Torres do not buy into the rebirth of traditional values at the Liverpool Football club, the transformation will be a long and painful one.

Ever since I decided to leave my exciting women’s coaching soccer career in Tasmania in 1993, the Diegos have been part of my life. I may have been the adopted brother, but all the brothers have accepted me as their own. In all the graveyard shifts and at all the LIVE events we have been like true brothers, through the good times of Liverpool winning Champions League finals to the bad times when I divorced Liverpool for Bolton they have been there, a band of brothers talking together, laughing together, bagging me together about the game we love, the world game Football.
